APPLYING FOR A VIETNAM VISA​

 

For U.S. Citizens:

You will need to apply online to be granted a single-entry Visa that is valid for 30 days with the Vietnamese Embassy. You can easily sign-up by using this LINK HERE.

 

It is $25.00/per person and please apply TWO WEEKS in advance to guarantee approval confirmation for E-Visa to Vietnam. You will receive an email confirmation with the details of your approval.

HOTEL RECOMMENDATION

 

We are excited to celebrate our special day with you and want to make sure you have a comfortable and convenient stay during the wedding trip.

 

While we do have a few hotel recommendations for your consideration, please know that you are more than welcome to book anywhere that fits into your budget and preferences.

 

We recommend searching for Airbnb rentals or hotels, there are options less than $50/night. Some hotels we suggest are Wyndham Legend Halong Hotel or Hotel Sol Halong, Trademark Collection by Wyndham, you can either book through a 3rd party site like Booking.com, Exepedia or direct.

They're both located within close proximity to the Halong International Cruise Port and offer a range of amenities and room types to fit different budgets. These accommodations range from $60 - $100 USD per night. You can book directly from their website or use Agoda.com (they're equivalent to Expedia overseas). We recommend booking your hotel accommodations as early as possible to prevent sellouts.

AIRPORT RECOMMENDATION

 

The fastest way to travel to Ha Long Bay is by flying into Cat Bi International Airport (HPH) which is only one hour away from Ha Long Bay.

 

The other alternate route is to fly into Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) in Hanoi. From Hanoi, it will take approximately a 3-hour car ride to Ha Long Bay.
